A few days ago the kids and I had fun exploring at a lake beside our house. The kids have not been around boats much so the really enjoyed watching the speed boats and fishing boats. The also got up close and personal w/some vultures. Apparently there is about 30 of them that make their home in the cliffs around the lake (kind of gross, but the kids were impressed by how big they were). They made me a little nervous and I did not take any pictures of them maybe another time - I did not want to stand still for to long for fear they would not realize I was still alive :). Here are a few of the kids.

Right before we left Sabetha Kasey (formally Schuster) who I went to school with took a few pictures of the kids. She is just getting into taking pictures and got a couple of good shots of the kids...

Well we have been in TX for almost two week now. Here are a few pictures from our first few weeks. I convinced my mother that she should stop by the library and check out the blog so that she can see more pictures and know what is going on so I apologize to the rest of you for the abundance of pictures and trivial information.

Even though we have moved multiple times this is the first time that I actually have a picture of the kids w/the moving truck - probably b/c I always try to get the loading done without all of their 'help.' On the drive down I was amazed at the sky and I had never seen a thunderhead so impressive. The picture does not do it justice you could not see the beginning or end.

The kids had a lot of fun playing at Bobby's with cousins. Maddy loved dressing Kiley up and Eli enjoyed playing w/all of them.

First breakfast in the new house. The only bowls I had unpacked were glass mixing bowls and I had not gotten to the cups so they used yogurt containers that grandma had given us to use as snack cups in the car. One of the kids favorite things to do it drive their jeeps through the sprinklers as it waters the lawn. I don't know if you can actually see the water in the picture, but they love it.

We enjoyed the time that we spent in Sabetha and it was nice to be so close to my family. Thank you all for everything! G thank you for allowing us to pop in anytime and I am sure you will notice a decline in the grocery bill now that we are gone. Here are a few pictures of our last couple weeks and fun with cousins!

We had fun taking walks, feeding the ducks, and going to the old lake. We also took a day and headed to KC to a water park and then the T-Rex restaurant.

The kids as always had fun on the farm helping Papa riding in equipment, playing in the dirt, and with the animals especially Grandma and Papa's new puppy Jeepers. Kiley carried the poor thing around everywhere.

I know that it has been awhile but we have been a little consumed lately...
For those of you who do not know we are now living in TX. The last few weeks have been a little crazy but I am now able to just sit down for a minute and it is wonderful. I do not have any pictures yet, b/c my wireless is not working however for those of you interested here is my last couple weeks in a nut shell. We moved out of our house in Sabetha and loaded our things in a u-haul. The kids and I went to my moms while Brian drove the truck to his brothers house in TX. He then flew back to Sabetha and came to my moms as well. We hung out there for a couple weeks while we waited on Brian's job details to be worked out. Once all of that was in place Brian left and drove back down to TX where he had two work days and a weekend to find us a house and unload the moving trucks. I was a little nervous about not seeing a house before moving in but he did wonderful. The kids and I drove 9 hrs to Brian's brothers then and spent the night, played the next morning and then went the 3 more hours to our house. We have been here since Tuesday and are unpacked and settled in for the most part (I still have a few pictures to hang but I could not ask Brian to do that on father's day :) We have a great backyard that the kids are loving and I am hoping that a routine will be established soon. Just thought that I would give everyone a quick update. God is good and we are more than ready to start this next chapter!
