Happy Birthday Elijah Dalton!

It is hard to believe that he is five years old today. Time really does fly by. I am truly blessed to have a wonderful little man and thank God for him everyday.

Thank you everyone for the extra prayers for Eli. He is doing much better now. Monday was a little scary but thanks to good doctors and prayers we are already improving.
I have always been amazed at how different my two beautiful children are...

Today Brian was doing laundry and had given the kids each their stack of clothes to put away. I was in the kitchen and heard him checking on their progress. Kiley needed some encouragement to even get the clothes in her drawer...

Eli had them all put away and organized into piles (one pile was clothes he could wear on the farm, on was for around the house but probably not out, one jeans...)
When Brian first told them that it was time for them to put their clothes away Eli started to complain and stall, however as soon as Brian told him that if he did not come that he was just going to throw his clothes into a drawer and not put them where they belonged he made a beeline to his room - seriously?!
Got to love them both!

As I look out the window at the blowing snow and see the completely white covered ground it is hard to believe that yesterday the kids and I enjoyed some time at the lake and it is nearly the end of March...

Both the kids for the most part enjoy going and seeing new places and 'exploring' I enjoy taking pictures and so I usually dress them in something that at least is stain free and we go run around. Here are a few of the pictures from the lake and the covered bridge...

Kiley recently had her first haircut. Ever since we have been in KS Gina has been talking her into it by offering a sucker - when sweets are involved Kiley is easily convinced. Gina always said that she needed a spunkier (don't know if that is even a word or not?) hair cut to match her personality. Her are a few before pictures...

and after...

Well I lost my camera for a week but now have found it again...

So glad for the snow to be melting and the temperature to be a little warmer. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the snow as it was melting away. Brian made a sled path for the kids and they both loved it. It was in the shade so it was some of the last snow to go which the kids were very grateful for.
