It cooled down a little bit today and we had a nice breeze so we headed to the lake this afternoon. We flew kites and of course threw rocks into the water...

Eli also lost another tooth this week so he has the sweet gap on top that most 6 year olds get at one time or another...

Not even a week after the 'snow' Eli thought that he needed to break out the shorts (it was in the upper 80s). I snuck up on him and got a picture of his relaxing afternoon after school...

We actually had snow here last Sunday (I know that is over a week ago but...). It lasted about 45 minutes, with huge flakes and was promptly gone as soon as it started. Praise God we did get rain off an on all week last week! Here are a few 'snow' pictures of the kids (I even got them from their room during rest time so they could see it - that is big time and I knew if I didn't they would never know that it snowed) You have to look close but there is snow there.

Hello again just thought I would give you the highlights of the last couple of weeks. Kiley has started gymnastics, learned to ride her bike without training wheels, and enjoyed helping make treats for friends.

I do not have any pictures from gymnastics yet but she is loving it and moved up a class after the first day. As far as the bike goes a couple of weeks ago she asked if she could ride a bike without training wheels, so I took her out on the street and she did pretty good. About a week later Brian went out with both kids and they went 2 miles. She was pretty proud of herself and so was her brother.

Kiley asked if we could make cupcakes the other day and after she had put the batter in the cups I turned around to do something and when I looked she was thoroughly enjoying 'cleaning' the container.

Eli has continued school, continued reading, and lost another tooth.

Eli lost his tooth this morning and was very excited that it happened on Super Bowl Sunday. He has been into the NFL ever since he discovered books at the library on the history of each time. He defiantly know a whole lot more than I do about that.

This is the view I see of Eli usually whenever he has free time and he is not outside he has a book and anytime I ask him to do something he comes to me like this walking with the book in front of his sweet little face. He is enjoying the boxcar children books and as always anything about history.
