Anticipation is a nap killer around here so at lunch I was spelling to Brian that I was heading to the book fair with Eli after naps. Eli always listens intently to try to pick up on any words he may know but generally we carry on fast enough that he can not get it all processed in time. Anyway shortly after this Eli after being quiet for awhile smiles really big and says, m o m c a n you s e e d a d?

This morning is like most Kiley is up and done with breakfast (and much more...) and Eli is still sleeping. It was a pancake morning so Kiley finished her breakfast and then went to potty and brush her teeth. I heard the toilet flush, then I heard her toothbrush from the kitchen where I was cleaning up, then I did not hear anything. When I went to check this is what I found...

In the course of about a minute she managed to use 1/2 of the large Vaseline jar on her legs and arms and as some of you may know Vaseline does not clean up to easy. However, I will have to say it was MUCH easier than last time when it was in her hair, and the eczema patches she has should be well hydrated now.

Any woman who is looking for a good devotional book - I am loving the one I am going through right now, Walking with the Women of the the Bible by Elizabeth George. It starts at Genesis and works it was through the Bible highlighting each woman's life the good and bad and what we can learn through it. You have the passage from the word to read and then a single page each day. Not a real intense study but some great examples and simple challenges for each day.
I realized just the other day that it has been over a month since I have been on here... It has been so nice out we have been spending most of our time outside, today it is cold again so I am back at the computer.

We truly have been loving the weather. A little over a month ago we got the kids ride on jeeps and they LOVE them. There was a lady in town who was getting rid of one and basically gave it to us so we started with a brown on then the next day she came back and had a nearly new purple barbie one that she had found at a garage sale for $5. So now both the kids have their own. Kiley is not the best driver yet but she is defiantly improving. They are enjoying them more than I expected and I am enjoying the fact that I did not have to pay the hundreds for them!
