Thank you everyone who has been praying for Eli. He is feeling much better, tomorrow we should know more about the result of the camera pill. Technology is amazing. He swallowed the blue flashing pill with not problem and then they hooked him up w/electrodes and a little computer he carried around in a backpack. We did not have to stay at the hospital the whole time which was nice. We went to the children's museum, some parks, and then found a mall w/chairs and hung out and watched a movie. The worst part was taking the electrodes off. I finally used goo gone Wednesday to finish the job.
Saturday Eli started to feel better. He had been begging to go to Grandma and Papa's so we headed there for the weekend. Saturday I went to my 10 year. My class had a family picnic. It was great to see everyone and all their kiddos. I am starting to feel a little old :). We then spent time with family and the kids loved playing with their cousins. My kids got to cook over a fire for the first time. Eli loved his chicken and my brother took the opportunity to introduce Kiley to all kinds of foods.(hotdogs, chips...) I spent the rest of the weekend trying to keep her from eating the chips off of everyone's plate. Eli also got to make and eat a smore for the first time - he was in Heaven!

If you know both Kiley and Tyse you know that they have a lot of similarities. It is always fun to watch them interact, you never know for sure if they will be laughing and hugging or screaming and pushing!? Tyse is very sweet and they got along pretty good.

As I was changing laundry I hear Eli telling Kiley to grab her helmet and sword. This is what I walked in on?!
Eli has completed his first year of preschool. He had a great teacher and truly enjoyed it. Here he is with Mrs. Fanton

Luckily he had a few good days and was able to go to school his last day and do his program. Last night and today have been rough again. He has not been able to keep his food down. We head back to Children's in the morning so please pray that he will be able to swallow the camera pill ok and we can begin to get some answers.

Kiley loves looking out the windows, this morning she got to it before I could raise the blinds...

So I was informed today that I needed to work on my blogging - sorry that it has been a while.

Eli has had a rough couple of weeks. Between our time at Children's and the daily phone calls I feel that I have gotten to know his doctors pretty well at this point. We will talk with the doctor again tomorrow to let them know how the weekend went and to determine what is going to happen this week. He is having a lot of pain and fatigue so we go back either Wednesday or Friday for scopes and camera pill. Please keep him in your prayers.

We did have a nice surprise when we got back from church. I had ordered caterpillars a couple of weeks ago they had made their chrysalises and today they started hatching. Both Kiley and Eli have really enjoy watching them.

Omaha has a Whole Foods store, which is great and has a lot more variety of foods for Eli. They also have some beautiful flowers. The two times that I have had Reforest Alliance flowers they have been awesome and lasted a long time. These were my early Mother's Day flowers, which are now being enjoyed by the butterflies.

Happy May Day! Eli thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon delivering and receiving May Day baskets (People even drive to deliver them around here:) One of the little girls in Eli's class came to the house tonight and delivered one - even though he could not eat any of the candy it made his night.

Our big news for the day is the fact that our 19 month old finally cut her 7th tooth?! She now has a little white poking through next to her middle two on the bottom - Yeah Kiley.
