Today we headed to the zoo for the morning - next year we will wait until November or December so we do not melt but we still had fun.

The kids have been enjoying the water lately because if you are outside here you need to be in water - triple digits do that for you.

Yesterday we had a birthday party at a water park and today we enjoyed another new splash pad and shaded playground.

Kiley discovered Eli's old cowboy boots yesterday and they are her size and she loves them...
Today she came out ready to go to the splash pad with the suit and boots on...

We just got back from a trip to KS to see the family and friends. I ran a 5k with a couple of my best friends from forever and then got to spend some fun time with family. Eli and Kiley had a lot of fun swimming at the country club with family, playing tag on the hay bails, riding go-carts at Aunt Betty and Papa John's house, playing with the kittens that Papa and Grandma got just for them, fishing, and just enjoying family and the country.
