Clifford came to the library a couple of days ago so Eli and I headed out to see him - it was kind of a joke w/a sweet librarian trying to read a couple of book to a completely crowded room w/way to may kids - you could not hear her at all and all the kids just keep asking where Clifford was. Clifford finally walked out w/another librarian who told us that Clifford was going to be in the red room for pictures and to start a line. So of course we had to get in line. We had made it about half way through when Eli has to potty - and when he has to go there is no waiting! Thus we went to the bathroom and got back at the end of the line - We finally did get to see Clifford. Eli was excited, but as we were leaving he said, "You do know that he was not real don't you mom?" I played dumb and asked for an explanation "Well couldn't you see the persons eye's through his?!"

So last night Kiley had her bath done, PJ's on, and ready for bed. I went to make Eli's bed while he took a shower and then went to find Kiley and put her in bed...

Eli has been into lifting with Daddy lately. Brian teaches him something new each time and it is interesting to watch. He was pretty proud of himself yesterday b/c he was able to lift the bar w/two wheels on it(for those of you who do not lift a wheel is just a weight). I was impressed that he could do so much w/15 pounds. It is always entertaining.

Sweet Corn Time - my son's favorite time of the year. We went to Great Grandpa and Grandma's and picked some. The kids had fun playing and eating! Kiley enjoyed the marshmallows and a cookie - she was feeling pretty special. Eli enjoyed dominoes.

Today was beautiful! We enjoyed the cooler weather. Eli finished his swimming lessons this morning and we spent some time at the park and walking the trails this afternoon. Kiley and Eli had a lot of fun playing...

This past weekend we did a last minute trip to Sabetha b/c we were having lots of showing on the house and it was Andrew's birthday. The kids as always had a lot of fun playing on the farm and w/cousins. G had a great party for Andrew and Kiley and Tyse had fun yelling at one another from across the yard (I really do think that they love each other?!)

Mom and Dad had a ton of flowers in bloom and it was really pretty. We attempted to get a picture of the five cousins together too - someday it will happen - maybe?!

Thanks to my sister in law my nice indoor rainy day activity of shaving cream will forever be banned to an outdoor only one! Kiley and Tyse sure had fun!
Well I know that I am a little behind on this post but...
Our neighborhood goes a little over the top for the 4th which makes it a little nerve racking listening to all the fireworks hit the roof, but mostly a lot of fun and a chance to see a lot of beautiful fireworks.
Jasper and his family came up for the 4th and stayed a couple of days. Everyone had a ball. We went to Lost in Fun, played w/the slip n slide (even though it was cold!), introduced Gina and Andrew to the farmers market, watched a ton of fireworks from the deck and front lawn, and just hung out - making sure that Tyse and Kiley had constant refereeing! Here are a few pictures.
Jasper was taking pictures of the fireworks - this was about the best!
