Field trip to feed the duck after reading Ping
Well September is here.  We have enjoyed the rest of the summer, started school, and are getting into the grove of school.

Enjoying time at the lake

Feeding the dolphins at Sea World

First day of school at Providence 2012

Eli invited Kiley and I into his room for a picnic the other day.
He had drinks, snacks, and books for us to read...

Brian did a tri (swim, hike, ruck) we did the last
part with him hiking up the hills at Dana Peak

Deep chats with Eli and Caleb

Eli and Kiley had a lot of fun being in Abby's wedding.  Thanks for letting us be part of you big day!

This was Kiley watching the wedding party swing dance
can you tell she was impressed?!

Talking with Great Grandpa Frazee...
Dancing with uncle Jasper - after she saw the
swing dancing all she really wanted to
do was flip so Jas got his workout...

This may not look like anything to special just some dancing but I think it is monumental - Blake is on the dance floor doing the chicken dance with Kiley and if you notice he does have a smile.  Thanks Blake!

Eli danced too, but I think he was moving around so fast I could never get his picture...
Thought I better get a post in for July...
Here is a little photo dump from our trip to KS.  We always have fun on the farm.
Doing a little archery with Papa
The kids playing on the 'playground' that Grandma and Papa
made for them at the pond

Kiley and the kittens that Grandma got for her to play with...
If she was outside she had them with her - she is such an animal girl
Fishing fun with Andrew - Uncle Jasper was so good to us and cooked up all the fish we caught - Kiley loved it.

Lighting fireworks on the dock...
July 4th at the pond

Kiley is not a fan of loud noise therefore fireworks were not a favorite.
We did finally convince her to do a sparkler and she liked the snakes
beyond that she typically ran for the house...
Playing some Life with Tyse and Andrew

Having some deep conversation with Great
Grandpa Sanner
Eli loved doing the diving board at the pool -
this was a first for him.

Eli and Kiley like to play 'boy' and Kiley
dresses up in his clothes and tries to talk
tough...it usually does not last long and
she goes back to her dresses and babies and
most often it is part of some negotiated deal where
she will play 'boy' with Eli and then he has to
play baby with her...that is why she has on
Eli's clothes if anyone wondered.
The kids were very excited about Brian's father's day card.  I saw the candy card idea on pintrest so I let the kids pick out candy and make up what they wanted to write (Eli really liked the example I showed him so much is the same but he did change a few things and add his own) Kiley was most concerned with making sure Daddy knew he could share with her if he wanted...
We have been enjoying summer fun.  Trips to the creek, waterfall, lake, swimming lessons, parks, birthday parties, back yard bible club...
hunting for tadpoles and minnows

sliding down the 'slide' at Salado with Caleb

Kiley and Savannah showing off their minnow
collection - I am pretty sure they both would have
spent hours catching and playing with their 'fish'
if we let them...

very excited about the frog she caught...

just hanging out with friends before they move...
my princess loving the mud paint

getting all painted up
Sweet Kiley is adding to her scar collection.  She had stitches after getting hit with a bamboo stick between the eyes...  She did wonderful with them, no crying and very brave through the numbing shots and all the stitching up.
Just have to catch up ... sorry

We had another trip to sweet berry farms this time with Daddy and on a weekend so we could enjoy the animals too.  We picked more strawberries and blackberries as well as onions and Eli dug some potatoes.  Delicious food and great family fun.  Also had to get some of their homemade ice cream after all the work or picking...
